Christmas Family Portraits

This collection was shot over two weekends. The first was for one side of the family and the second was for the other side. The photos are presented in the order that they were captured. The lighting, camera lens, camera settings and background were identical on all portraits. I believe by using dramatic lighting and only slight smiles the collection shows the wide range of subdued emotions and drama that occur during the holidays. The use of black and white processing adds to the drama.
